Barrierscreens’ CybaShade range of fauxwood venetians are elegant timber-look blinds that are versatile and durable, making them perfect for children’s bedrooms, high traffic living areas and bathrooms.
Made from the finest synthetic materials in our own Brisbane facility, our fauxwood venetian blinds are water resistant and UV stabilised so they won’t fade or warp in the sun. This makes them ideal for the bathroom, kitchen or windows that experience heavy sun.
Our standard blade or slat size is 50mm, however we also offer a wider 63mm fauxwood venetian slat which can deliver the elegance of plantation shutters under budget.
Tips for Fauxwood Venetians
Light Leaks
Fauxwood venetians are great for dramatically reducing the light and heat that enters your home through your windows. That said, it is common for the slats, particularly in the larger blinds, not to close 100% flat. This means that you will get slight light leaks or “glow” visible between the slats. If you require a total light block solution, please talk to one of our experts about how we can help you achieve this.
Cleaning Your Fauxwood Venetians
Venetian blinds are renowned for being difficult to clean, but this doesn’t have to be the case! Regular dusting with a microfibre mitt or similar will stop dust and dirt building up on your blinds. Simply close the blinds in one direction and gently run your mitt over the surface, then close the slats in the opposite direction and repeat.
