Contrary to popular belief, there is, unfortunately, no standard size window! In fact, even when we quote from a house plan at the initial stages of planning, the exact measurement of the window may change throughout the build and will require a check measure before production and installation.

Because the size of the window has a significant impact on the pricing, it is important to seek pricing once you have a rough idea of your window measurements. 2. Type of Window Covering

The other cost factor is which kind or kinds of window coverings you’d like to grace your home with.

Within each style of window covering are different fabrics and options that cause price variance, however, we can say that as a general rule, Roller Blinds and Vertical Blinds tend to be the most cost effective covering, and the beautiful Plantation Shutters tend to be at the opposite end of the spectrum. However, it is not uncommon for our clients to incorporate a thoughtful mix of window furnishings in their home, many opting for Plantation Shutters on the front of the house, or on certain bedrooms, and the elegant simplicity of Roller Blinds on the rest.
